TRAINING OF OBSERVERS AHEAD OF EDO – 26TH AND 27TH AUGUST 2024
In preparation for the Edo State Governorship election on September 21, 2024, Situation Room conducted a two-day training session for election observers in Benin City on Monday, 26th – Tuesday, 27th August, 2024. This training aimed to equip both old and new observers with skills for effective election observation and reporting, including identifying, documenting and responding to potential challenges. The training provided a platform for experienced observers to share insights from past elections while addressing and clarifying common misconceptions for newcomers.
