The dialogue was organized with a view to evaluate and improve the use of technology in Nigeria’s electoral process. The meeting, attended by a broad range of stakeholders including civil society organizations, INEC, and development partners, reviewed technological advancements, discussed implementation challenges, and explored global best practices. Key points included the need for a comprehensive voter register that will be accessible to all EMBs including the SIECs, Election Technology Development Plan, and putting administrative mechanisms in place to address human factors in the utilization of technology in elections.
