INEC promises more Voting Points during the 2019 Elections

The National Commissioner and Chairman of the Committee on Information and Voter Education, Festus Okoye has expressed the Commission’s intention to create more voting points in polling units with more than 1,000 registered voters in order to make the voting process more convenient and enhance administrative processes. However, citing of voting points in areas that have persistent communal clashes is posing a challenge to the Commission.
