Nigeria Civil Society Situation Room rose from its retreat in Lagos on the 4th and 5th of December, 2018 with strategies to engage the 2019 general elections. Some of the resolution reached at the Retreat included ensuring nationwide coverage and observation of the elections, particularly the accreditation process. Under the plan, Situation Room and its partner organisations will co-ordinate to ensure a good spread of observers across the Country, as well as total coverage and observation of all of the 8,904 ward collation centres of the Country.
