The Independent National Electoral Commission, on Thursday, 6 December, 2018 approved the appointment of Mrs. Rose Orianran-Anthony, the former Administrative Secretary of Delta State as Secretary to the Electoral Commission, for a term of 4 years, effective from the date of appointment.
She is an indigene of Edo State and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Language Arts from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Master’s degree in Public Communication and Public Relations from the University of Westminster, London.
She has occupied a number of positions in her 28 years at the Commission, which include Public Affairs Officer, Website content Manager, Head of Civil Society Liaison Division of the Voter Education department, Director and most recently, Administrative Secretary of Delta State prior to her appointment as Secretary to the Commission.
