The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) via its website yesterday, Thursday, 17th January 2019 released the final list of candidates who will be contesting the elective positions of President and National Assembly seats (Senate and House of Representatives).
INEC cleared 72 candidates for the presidential contest, while 6,584 candidates were cleared for both the Senate and House of Representatives.
The electoral body also published details about age, gender and qualifications of the candidates.
The list was signed by the Commission’s Secretary, Rose Oriaran-Anthony.
