The Nigeria Civil Society Situation Room held its South-South Geo-political Zonal Meeting on Tuesday, 25th November 2014 at Tinapa, Calabar, Cross River State. The meeting created an opportunity for interaction, experience sharing and peer collaboration amongst CSOs working in the South-South and the Situation Room. It also enabled the Situation Room to identify common issues of concern within the zone and articulate a common approach that would help build national consensus, concerted effort and coherence on national issues. In addition, the meeting also worked the best way that CSOs in the zone will feed in and contribute to the observation of the 2015 General Elections.
