The Nigeria Civil Society Situation Room rising from its stakeholders meeting in Abuja redefined the threshold for what would be considered as a successful 2019 general election. The threshold defined minimum standards and expectations that stakeholders would need to live up to, in order for the 2019 general elections to qualify to be described as free and fair. Stakeholders identified include INEC, security agencies, public media and Civil Society. The threshold document is expected to be circulated to all stakeholders as a guide for effective and meaningful participation in the electoral process.
